PROJECTION MAPPING
ARCHITECTURAL
Ōtepoti / Dunedin
Fringe Festival Hub
Working from the Dunedin Fringe Festival's 2019 visual identity, I translated its vaporwave-inspired graphic language into a large-scale architectural projection. The festival headquarters became an animated extension of the brand, transforming the building into a giant aesthetic GIF, an oversized piece of internet culture.
Extending the festival's visual language beyond posters and screens, the projection transformed the building into a playful, larger-than-life landmark that announced the festival to the city.
